Sponsored by:
Stanislaus County´s Board of Supervisors on Tuesday voted to delay imposing regulations and fee increases on pet owners, saying there are critical details that still need to be dealt with.
About 75 people attended Tuesday´s meeting.
Both sides of the proposal had support from speakers, during the two-hour public hearing.
The breeding and pet-licensing ordinance is expected to go back to supervisors Dec. 14, after the county´s Animal Services Department has reviewed several amendments and worked with officials from other cities.
