Jackass Hill Evacuations

Fire officials and law enforcement are sizing up the situation on whether evacations at Jackass Hill area will be needed due to the fire at New Melones Lake on the Tuolumne County side of the lake, near the Visitor´s Center. Officials are in the area. The fire started around 3:45 p.m. today and has spread to over 75 acres.
