DUI For Valley Springs Man

A Valley Springs man was arrested after a single vehicle crash on Highway 12 Friday. The CHP reports 19-year-old Shawn Powers reached for his CD player and allow his GMC pick-up to run off the roadway hitting concrete fence posts and chain link fence. He was not injured, but was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence by CHP officers.
