Stanislaus County Firefighters battled a grass fire in the Hickman area near Turlock Lake, west of La Grange Thursday afternoon. Tuolumne County CDF units and a helicopter responded for mutual aid to Stanislaus County fire crews. The fire was contained at 5:10 p.m.
