Wildfires Still Burning
More than nine-thousand acres have burned in five California wildfires. The largest fire has destroyed more than 5,900 acres north of Ojai in Ventura County. The fire began Saturday and is only ten percent contained. Four unoccupied ranch structures were destroyed. There are two wildfires in the San Bernardino National Forest. The Arrowhead fire has burned more than 2,600 acres since beginning Friday after a fire training exercise. It´s now 80% contained. The latest fire has broken out in the Angeles National Forest north of Glendora. It´s charred about 125 acres. Officials say no homes are immediately threatened. The cause is under investigation.
