Deputies Make An Arrest After Chase

Calaveras County Sheriff´s Deputies arrested a 25 year old man after leading authorities on a car chase from Angels Camp to Dorrington. Merl Greenley is being held at the county jail. Deputies saw Greenley driving his pickup truck in an unsafe manner in Angles Camp and gave chase. Greenley´s truck struck a CHP vehicle that was assisting in the chase. Greenley left the roadway in Dorrington and attempted to run away on foot. Greenley was picked up shortly after. He is held on 30 thousand dollars bail.
