Avalanche and Snowpack Conditions: Eastern Sierra Avalanche Center (ESAC) and the Bridgeport Avalanche Center for the avalanche advisories for our MotherLode area of the Sierra Nevada. The local avalanche centers hoisted an avalanche warning mid January due to extreme winds and heavy snow loads.
