A group of prominent business leaders say they have voted to oppose the Republican-led effort to recall Governor Davis.

The California Business Roundtable is a group of about 60 chief executives, and they say California needs its top public officials to be focused on restoring vitality to the economy and stability of the state€™s budget and financial position.

The Business Roundtable includes companies that donate to Republican causes on a regular basis.
